The Inter-Agency Research Cooperation Project: Developing New Strategies for Understanding Children's Work and Its Impact has launched its website of data on child labour. The aim of the site is to provide a comprehensive overview of existing data on child labour and to make these data accessible beyond the three agencies that support the initiative: the International Labour Office, UNICEF and the World Bank. The research project has built up a set of databases on child labour issues including a comprehensive database of surveys that collect information on child labour. The project has also developed and posted statistical indicators for about thirty countries on its site. The indicators chart various dimensions of child labour and relate them to income, gender, health condition and education. A selective bibliography on child labour issues has been compiled and will be regularly updated.
