Successful conclusion of the important SUNRISE research and development project. An innovative modular solution, open and based on cooperation between various proximity technologies (NFC, RFID, QR code, bluetooth, etc) and the more "traditional" ones

September 2018 - SUNRISE project completed

The SUNRISE project was born from the collaboration of a series of companies in the area as part of a call for proposals by the Region of Tuscany to finance innovative projects, reserved for companies based in Tuscany.

Planet Srl has participated as a partner, with Engineering as leader, together with Leonet (VAR Group), Project, Datapos, CUBIT, Liberologico.

The project is based on three main objectives:

  • Innovation through technological integration projects
  • Integration of the offer of local services
  • Enabling a cashless city business ecosystem

SUNRISE is a platform based on the cooperation between the various proximity technologies and the more "traditional" ones to present a portfolio of integrated services that follow the user throughout his stay in the "virtual community" of the platform.
